What is an Ultrasound?

An ultrasound scan is a medical test that uses high-frequency sound waves to capture live images from the inside of your body. It’s also known as sonography.

How can I book an appointment for an Ultrasound?

Patients require referral from their physician and appointments are booked through the Diagnostic Imaging Department. It is important to know and to ask the booking clerk if you are required to have a full bladder or to abstain from eating for a period of time before your ultrasound.

Please call 613-354-3301, extension 263 for more information.

I have an appointment – where do I go?
