The hospital currently operates 52 beds (24 active care, 2 Surgical, 4 Special Care and 22 Complex Continuing Care). The recent redevelopment project included a new Complex Continuing Care unit, and operating rooms as well as major expansions to the ambulatory clinic areas, Emergency department and Diagnostic Imaging upgrades.
The hospital offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic services supported by a well equipped laboratory and diagnostic imaging department.
The Hospital employs over 200 staff. Medical staff includes family physicians, general surgeons, a radiologist, surgeons and consulting physicians from Kingston.
These are very exciting times for our hospital as our recent redevelopment opens new opportunities for us to serve our community. Our commitment is to provide high quality health care close to home for the residents of Lennox and Addington and surrounding townships. Our new facility provides the space and equipment that permits us to maintain and enhance our services during the years to come.
Our staff and our volunteers are very proud of the hospital in which they work and serve and are committed to ensuring that each patient and each visitor is treated with the care and compassion which they would wish for a member of their own family. The organizational culture is one of continuous quality improvement.
The involvement and support of the community has been key to the success of our hospital. Information about how you can assist the hospital through donations of time as a volunteer or financial support can be found on the pages of this web site.
